Applied Materials Launches Applied AutoMod 12.2
Release Summary
The Applied Materials AutoMod team is pleased to announce the general release of AutoMod 12.2. This release contains many new enhancements and capabilities that make modeling faster and easier and provide greater control over AutoMod installations and simulation projects.
Key Enhancements and Capabilities
· A new “SimController” utility, which comes with a model compare tool, has been implemented to provide greater control and visibility for AutoMod projects.
· Ships with the new Dtrace 2.0, allowing you to create and apply your own graphics templates for conveyor, pathmover, ASRS, and power and free systems.
· Ships with a much faster compiler (MS compiler), improving both compile time and run time performance.
· A new nmake utility is included, providing easy solutions for compiling in external dll’s .
· New syntax for accessing entity attributes (backorder statistics, wait statistics for Queues, Counters, and Blocks).
· New syntax for Vehicle ID and Load ID reference.
· Graphics engine switch (OGL and VR), allowing you to toggle between AutoMod graphical rendering engines from the same installation, eliminating the need for different installations.
· New Excel functions, including syntax for reading and writing ranges to excel workbooks.
· Supports the XP 64 Operating System.
· Writes out tab delimited output AutoMod reports.
· There is a new named run option, allowing you to save the output reports under a user defined name (including AutoView files).
· Ships with a faster and easier to use installer.
· The out of sync flag issues (requiring an export and import workaround) have been fixed, along with many other defects, providing a more stable modeling environment.
Obsolescence
AutoMod version 12.2 supersedes AutoMod 12.1.3. The support status for the following versions has changed with this release:
AutoMod version 12.2 – Current released version
AutoMod version 12.1.3 – Supported
AutoMod version 12.0 – Extended support starts
AutoMod version 11.2 – Limited Support
